Stabilization and saturation of the market with bank products for individuals brought about a search for new sectors and market niches. As a result attention has been paid to a recently created sector of bank products and services which is targeted at students. The paper presents aspects related to research on the interest in bank products among students of the Poznań University of Life Sciences. It describes not only expectations towards potential providers of services on the retail financial services market but also the main drawbacks and the deficiency of offers from the customers point of view. Finally, the paper considers possibilities how to satisfy demand in the future and create more appropriate financial measures for the sector in question.
