The article contains a summary of three papers presented at the Conference on Price Stability organized by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in November 2005. The papers focus on forecasting abilities of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models, on modeling open economies and on applying learning rules to analyze the Federal Reserve's monetary policy.
