The article presents a simple method of listed share price forecasting. The method makes use of the report card and is effective in short-term forecasting. With respect to the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the time horizon should be no less than a week and no more than a month. The report card method can also be utilized to forecast stock exchange indices. Based on a simple system of signals, it is possible to anticipate changes in the trend by using qualitative forecasts, and whenever a clear trend is missing - construct quantitative forecasts. The method has been illustrated with practical examples from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
